    The COFFEE CAN COLLECTIVE is almost like a record label, almost like a management firm, and almost like a small group of die-hard music lovers who have been burned and watched their friends be burned in the music 'business'. We operate independently and optimistically; we are dedicated to producing quality records (who says DIY has to SUCK?), with quality bands, with quality causes. Think something along the lines of Sub City but with less money and hardly any noteriety (at this juncture.)

    We've tried to be in it for 'money' and 'fame'...it was a poor lapse of judgement and a great lesson is ethical control. We see the Coffee Can Collective as our first new steps back to what we miss the most about music: FAMILY! We have toured, played, promoted, pressed, signed, on and on and on...we miss the shitty 2am diners in off beat towns, we miss the kids who gave us food, shelter, rad burned CDs of music they liked, etc.

    We're sick of singles, we're sick of unoriginal music, and we're sick of pointlessly promoted, prefabricated music that eats up ears all over the world. We're not elitist, we're just tired of the 'new what next' and want change for ourselves and for all of you.

    We truly hope you're with us, and if you love music for the sake of music: you're already with us!
